From our humble beginnings as a one man show in 1937, we have expanded into a world renowned team of animal specialists and conservationists.

Our goal is to educate the public about important environmental issues and work closely with many major zoos worldwide to promote species survival.

We’re located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, just 6 miles south of Rapid City on the road to Mt Rushmore. Whether you're a fellow Black Hills resident or just passing through, we offer season passes and vacation passes (at no extra cost), as well as group rates!
