Taylor Gabel’s “Sky Dome Adventure” included a search for free roaming lizards, snakes, frogs, parrots, macaws, and finches within this tropical oasis filled with orchids, bromeliads, and caladiums.
J. Peterson exclaimed, “My three boys think snakes are awesome!” Her adventurous day involved taking her sons to the exciting to the Snake Show and touring the Sky Dome’s collection of rare and exotic snakes.
Marsha Stewart shares a lovely memory from a past experience when she had a delightful ride on the back of one of our giant tortoises, “I visited Reptile Gardens in 1961 when I was a little girl - I was about five years old."
Kim Ross captured a memory of her son and Methuselah, our beloved giant tortoise. Born in 1881 in the Galapagos Islands, Methuselah is 128 years old, weighs 600 pounds, and is nicknamed "Earl" after the founding father of Reptile Gardens, Earl Brockelsby.
Tammy Robinson snapped a shot of “Scott and the Albino Bermese Python” as he gets up close and personal with the photogenic Marilyn. At 16 feet long, Marilyn is 10 years old, weighs in at 200 pounds, and is always a favorite with Guests.
